Today was an incredible introduction to London as we visited one of the city's most iconic landmarks, the Tower of London. Walking through centuries of history, it was impossible not to be in awe of everything the tower has witnessed, from royal imprisonments to executions. The highlight of the visit for me was seeing the Crown Jewels up close, and no description could truly do justice to seeing the craftsmanship and weight of the regalia in person.

After exploring the tower, we made our way across Tower Bridge to a nearby market, where I tried a sausage roll and a fresh mango juice, both absolutely delicious and a perfect midday treat after all the walking. Days like today are a reminder of how much you can learn simply by being present in a new place, and exploring local markets and historic sites has already given me a deeper appreciation for British culture and the richness of experiencing it firsthand.
